The Thai Zoo didn't know what to do with nursing
piglets
that lost their mother. The tigress' cubs died
due to being born prematurely so she was lactating.
The zoo decided to
dress the piglets in tiger garb so
they would look more like tiger cubs than pork chops
and maybe the tigress would
nurse the piggies.
Strangely, the Royal Bengali tigress was born in
captivity and fed by a female pig for four months
after
her birth.
